Selfridges & Co. is having a sale from Thu to Sat and brands such as Gucci, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Anya Hindmarch etc are having sales up to 50%!!
The queues at Gucci and Miu Miu were incredible…stretching outside the store itself! 50% off….but I couldn’t buy anything! I looked at Marc Jacobs bags going for GBP 200 and was surprised to see some Balenciaga bags going for GBP 700 from GBP 2000! A Chinese girl walked out from Prada with 2 bags!!
Dorothy Perkins and FCUK are having 50% off as well. Was in shoe heaven when I saw shoes at Dorothy Perkins sold for GBP 12-22!! Am thinking of going to the branch at Canary Wharf to avoid the crowds but still enjoy the discount. I did see a pair of vermillion heels selling for GBP 20. MMmmm…..nice…me like….
Warehouse is also having a sale AND I saw GAP selling some tank tops for GBP 3.99. Definitely going shopping this weekend!!
Cosmetic companies housed in Selfridges have special promotional kits on sale as well. I bought a cleanser, softener (something like a toner) and moisturiser from Shiseido for GBP 25. The usual retail price is GBP 50. Will take a picture and post tomorrow. Cheap, isn’t it?
Clinique has excellent promo kits too! Saw a kit that has dual eyepencil, eye cream and mascara for GBP 26. the SA told me that the pencil itself retails for GBP 17 and that the eye cream can be kept for long if not opened. Another kit that they have is their usual 3-step (cleanser, toner, moisturiser) in normal as well as in travel size. I think that one is going for GBP 40-something? Not sure as I wasn’t really paying attention. Clarins is having sale prices for their body lotions…one bottle costing around GBP 30?
