Watched “Atonement” with Sing, Chow, Lefei and Gilson tonight. Thanks Sing for the free tix! The film was excellent and if I had read the book, I would think that the film did the novel justice. The film direction was excellent…it was very well done and could even show us, the audience, the POV of Briony. It’s such a sad film though. Leaves a very lingering bittersweetness in one’s mouth. You just want everything to be hunky dory and that the lovebirds will eventually come together and live happily ever after. But that’s not reality, is it?
