Saw this on the telly the other day and I immediately had a gagging reaction to it. Talk about exoticising China.
Xiang gu Chicken? That just means Mushroom Chicken. AND puhleese…do you think we Chinese do qigong while cooking? Moreover, China is such a huge country. Each province’s cuisine differs from the next. Bet you, the food mixes that they sell are either Cantonese or from Szechuan. -__-
Ah well…there’s a reason why its an ad here in the UK.
