Ever since I realised that I’ve got endometriosis, which caused me to put on a lot of weight suddenly, it has been a long journey to not just lose the weight but to also keep it down. I know that there are a lot of people who are struggling with their weight, whether it be losing or putting it on (yes, there are those skinny people who want to put on weight) and I’m thankful that through The Wellness Insider, I’ve gotten to know a lot of people in the wellness/fitness industry.
So, when Joel of Joe’s Fitness proposed this idea of whipping me up in shape while we work together on boot camps etc, I said, “Sure!” I’ve been toying with the idea of having a personal trainer all the time but I can’t afford it, like many of you out there. Thus, now as I embark on my journey, I hope that you guys can learn from my experience and get fit together! After all, health is a lot more important than trying to attain a certain physique.

What Joel did at first was really to assess what I needed to do so he made me stand first to check my posture and to do light exercises before really coming up with a plan. This is something that most of us don’t realise what a professional can help us with!
